Lol I got the commission a while back, and I can’t remember why I didn’t make it my banner? I think it was back in the time that I had yet to explain the fourth caste, and then the anxiety took the wheel, and then I forgot to update my blog lmao. But it’s been sitting in my phone lmao.

But my fave artist is working on a Lao x Verity commission, and I was like might as well update my banner?? Because that fits so much more than a basic green background??? I’ll probably change my profile pic in a week or so. Maybe I’ll do it the day I graduate, as a treat.

WTF EVENT: Taman Shud

On November 30th, 1948, a jeweler and his wife were just casually walking on Somerton beach when they stumbled upon a man apparently attempting to smoke a cigarette. They just assumed he was drunk and let him be. But the next morning he was dead.

For one thing, the man still hasn't been identified. He just appeared out of nowhere pretty much. Also, there was a mysterious note in his pocket with 'Taman Shud' scribbled on it. (Taman shud means 'finished'.) You might recognize this paper from the banner...

They did everything to find out who this man was, but no leads were ever found. They did find a plain brown suitcase however on January 12, 

abandoned at the railway station on November 30th.

To this day nobody knows who the hell this guy is or how he died. Some say he committed suicide, but no traces of poison were found in the body. To add insult to injury, he had this weird note with him:

WTF: tree grows next to bike, takes the bike with it

STORYTIME!!!

Once upon a time, a kid, Don Cruz, left his bike in the woods next to a sapling and lied to his mother that he had lost it. You might be thinking, 'Why the hell would he do that?' It's a girl's bike. And GOD how he hated it. He hated that bike more than Francis from L4D2 hates small towns. 

As decades passed, the tree grew, and grew....

AND IT CONSUMED THE BIKE MERCILESSLY, SPORTING IT AS A TROPHY OF ITS STRENGTH AND SIZE FOR ANY OTHER TREE WHO DARED TO CHALLENGE ITS SHEER MIGHT AND SUPERIORITY!

Naturally, it has become quite the tourist attraction, with people going on hikes to that tree so they can get a picture with the ill-fated bicycle.

I know, this ain't really 'unexplained' since the owner has been identified and whatnot. It's still a WTF fuel though, because a freakin tree ate a bicycle.
