Which one should I do first?? I haven't even finished Aloy's main Nora brave outfit and I'm already planning these 2 Projects. I mean.....I might as well get good use out of the wig right? Front and back of Banuk Ice Hunter Aloy! 🏹 This cosplay is actually missing a few details. In addition, I was hand sewing parts for this costume right up until the morning it was worn, so it was doomed to be imperfect. Despite the kinks that need working out I'm actually very proud of how this looks! Meghan also told me how comfortable it is to wear, so that's a big plus. 👍 Among the most prominent things I need to fix include the missing back armour panels, the rope belt droops too low, and the hairpiece is too long. I'd also like to paint more texture on thid outfit in general. But as I said, the rest is looking super sharp! I'm looking forward to sharing more photos with you over the next couple weeks! Today at PAX was simply amazing! @talonserena wore Aloy for the first time, and we got lots of photos and compliments. She just rocked that outfit. She also reported that despite it being quite hot, as expected, it was actually a fairly comfortable costume. Also a big highlight: were able to juuust squeak into the lineup for the Markiplier signing and meet the man himself! I got tons of cosplayer footage, so that makes me happy. :D We'll be there tomorrow, too. We won't be in cosplay ourselves, but I'm looking forward to getting even more videos of all your lovely faces. :3 Photos of Aloy by moi. An excellent photo of Aloy by @journeysincolor from PAX! It's gonna be a rough week as far as our jobs go, wish us luck and send cookies! Regardless I've started a small project that I'll try to share progress on during the week. I've also bought some really cool looking new fabric that reminds me of carbon fibre. It's inspired me to remake my Mordin suit and finally finish my first Mass Effect cosplay sometime next year.
