BAO- “Good Afternoon, I am Bao, Master Strahan’s butler, may I ask who is calling?”

ARON- “Yes, of course, I am a neighbor, Aron Goth. I heard that someone moved in and was curious, you said Strahan?”

BAO- “Yes, Master Strahan bought this property from the Straud estate. I apologize, but Master Strahan is unavailable, he should return around 8 pm.”

ARON- “That’s fine, is Mr. Goth available. He and I are distant cousins and I heard that he was staying here as well.  Is that the case?”

BAO- “Yes, Of course, come in, I can get him.”

As the walked inside to the parlor, Ronan looked all around him.  The home was, as you could tell very very old, but very well preserved and taken care of. There was a room to his left that had been remodeled and looked much more modern that the parlor or the room ahead of him past the grand staircase. There were large portraits hanging from the walls  One he recognized was of Lucinda Goth, mother of Guether Goth and wife of Mortimer Goth II.  Why were their portraits hanging in the old Straud mansion he wondered....

BAO- “The Goth’s were intimate friends and companions to Vlad the Great. They held a special place in his heart.  (It was as if this Bao had read Ronan’s mind!)

It was then that he could hear Michael speak to him, but through his mind...

MICHAEL- “Block your mind, this man is a very powerful witch, Ronan.”

BAO- “No need for that Master Michael.  We are all witches here. We have no secrets or agenda. We are here just as the realm, for education and understanding of the gifts of the supernatural. So please, no games. Master Vincent would be most un-pleased with that.”

RONAN- “Is this the right place, Michael?”  He said as he knocked on the door.

MICHAEL- “This is the address he gave us, but this isn’t the Goth Ancestral Home., that is on the other side of the hill closer to the small town square.”

RONAN- “Then what is this place?  It looks it has been around for quite a while.”

MICHAEL- “That it has, a very long time.  This is the Straud Mansion.”

RONAN- “Straud!?  I know that name.  How do I know----OH, I know that name from studying supernatural studies....Straud was the name of the supposed vampire family that lived in this area back in the mid 1700′s until the early 1900′s. The ancient vampire Vlad was taken out by his own grandson when he was way into his hundreds.....”

MICHAEL- “Actually Vlad was almost a 1000 years old when his great grandson Vlad the V fought and killed him.  Once the elder Vlad was vanquished, his great grandson disappeared from here. The stories were forgotten and the curse seemed to be lifted on this village.  But yes, this is the home where they lived during the times you said.”

The door finally opened and a young man dressed in a butler’s uniform answered the door....

BAO- “Good Morning and welcome... I am Bao Jhang, protector and caretaker of Master Vincent’s home. You must be Master Ronan and Master Michael. He is expecting you, please come in.”
