Chosen sequence for my images
If I were able to present as we normally would do at the end of a project, I would have, had them printed A1. Hopfully that can help you image how they would physically look up in a gallery wall space.

Final set of 4 images for my Wall project:
The project is all about taking a closer look at the ‘scars’ of the Earth. What I mean by this is that within all of my images they are mostly densely populated with trees, shrubs etc. So I am looking at the strange patches where things seem to not grow, whether that be on the side of the cliff as it is too steep for anything to even grow and be stable, or a sudden break in the landscape full of closely packed trees, suddenly leaving a large wide open space. I have ended up going with the title ‘Scarred’ because just like a scar on your body nothing can grow in that area and you are left with an altered part of yourself which is different from everything else. No one scar is the same, just how none of these large patches in my photos are the same in any way.
Project Option 2:
This is a quick mock-up that I created (using InDesign) for our group project discussion. I am happy with the style of the magazine as I feel that having the the plain white pages really helps the images on the double page spreads pop. During the talk I did decisde on perusing with option 1 as my final project, but I am happy that I came with this as a back up as I feel it has defientely helped me think of ways I can push other projects in the future.
Project Option 1:
This was the set of images that I presented to everyone, although the comments on the pictures themsleves were very positive I was told that the two images at either ends didn’t fit with the two central images. It was suggested that I should swap both the first and last image with two other that go more with the two central photographs. project around the untouched world/ strange open spaces
These are a quick glace at some images which I think might suit both options of my project.
2 Options for my Poland based project:
Option 1 - This would be to still keep with WALL in mind and to create a series of images of large scale image (ideally printed around A1) either of the landscape images or a more urban style within the streets of Krakow.
Option 2 - To create a travel style magazine advertising Poland for future tourists. This would mean I would be transitioning from my chosen aspect of WALL to PAGE. This will be held as my second option as I would like to keep with what I had initially chose at the begining of the module.
Archive of Poland images
In the summer after year 1 of the course Max and I went to visit one of our friends in Krakow, Poland. During the course of the week that we spent with him, we traveled all around his home capturing a variety of photographicc content. Due to the end of my original project I think I will use a collection of my images from Poland to create a new and hopfully even more excited project withi the time I have.
COVID set back!
Due to the development of the virus, the University has decided to close its doors, meaning that I will no longerr be able to use the studio facilities. I have been advised that changing my project is a possible option so I will start working on some new ideas right away.
