Hey! I appreciate what you posted. I would have reblogged it but I'm trying to keep my blog taylor-free right now because I'm hoping that will help control the situation so we can all focus on things that actually matter. I agree that it's totally blown out of proportion. I understand that a lot of that was my problem. I had an inbox full of messages and I shouldn't have responded to most of them. (pt 1)

Anyway, my intention wasn’t to make everything about Taylor. I posted that one thing because I saw it as problematic, thinking it wouldn’t get any notes because I left it untagged, and it exploded overnight. I understand that the fact that I continued to argue about Taylor made it seem like I was turning the Ferguson situation into something else, and something much less important. For that I really apologize. That was absolutely not the intention. (pt2)

and I’m hoping that ignoring all of the debate from here on out will direct the focus back onto Ferguson. It’s extremely shitty that it ended up being about Taylor. Like I said, I wasn’t trying to make it that way but I can absolutely understand why it came across that way and I’m trying my best to fix that part of the situation. I hope you can understand that! Thank you for clarifying! It’s completely okay, I know some of us can get a bit out of hand and it’s impossible to deny that a lot of these actions were incredibly problematic and I truly hope she addresses them properly. (ESPECIALLY the swastika picture, I just don’t see how she managed to overlook it.)

okay fine this whole thing is blowing so far out of proportion so let me give my opinion -it was VERY problematic of taylor to follow that blog that was in support of Darren Wilson. -however, she fixed it and unfollowed it which i respect. -i wish she would say something in support of peaceful protests in ferguson or in support of mike brown's family in general. HOWEVER: this is not about taylor. don't make it about taylor. this is about countless black people suffering and being needlessly slaughtered for no other reason than being black. this is because the burning of the flag causes more outrage than the killing of innocent black people. focus on the more important things. look at the bigger picture.
