Primitive hand fashioned horn spoon with decorative hand carved pattern possibly 'poker work' done with a hot needle rather than a poker though. Delicately carved and beautifully maintained. We bought this in a sale at Le Mans Cathedral so it may have some religious significance as a Baptism or Christening spoon.
Beautiful antique spoon made from flattened bone and decorated on the front and intialled M M M on the back.
It is a lovely thing and has considerable age ans is a lovely thing.
