Machinery clanked beside him, wiring lifted from its latch. His worst fear revisited, remembering the advent of sickening atrocities surfacing years prior. He thought he'd aided in ridding the city of monumental atrocities before, but it seemed amidst the chaos, new life had been bestowed upon once more at a greater height. Grappling hook attempts to latch onto one’s neck, akin to that of a Titan’s weakness, clean cuts hoping to stint motion.
Rinse and repeat, several times over, though its tenacity refused to simmer.

Dropping to the ground, with his voice bellowing out to his remaining brass, who possessed no particularly notable abilities other than being at his beck and call, Levi barked an order.
“We’re gonna need to call in backup, immediately.”
Struggling to keep footing amidst the chaos, the captain’s eyes widened as he noticed the emergence of other capable fighters in the distance.
