Regarding your thoughts on discontinuing Barastuck: We can't leave yet! The whole point of doing this was to make a comic!

The whole point of Barastuck was to create a cast of hypermasculine gay trolls to compensate for the lacking m/m ships in canon. This was a success.

The adventure itself was merely a consequence of wanting to flesh out their backgrounds in an entertaining way, rather than just summarizing their stories.

Unfortunately, webcomics are A Lot Of Work, and every page I had posted since the memo was introduced had been pushing me deeper into a corner that could not be written out of. Mainly because the mathtrolls + othertrolls introduced through the memo were supposed to be the male counterparts, who were undeveloped at the time.

I still want to develop the story, but it will likely be in a different format. The askblog is currently the most likely route for delivering content.
