Hurts to care. I really dislike Murphy but whatevs. It was a good fight though.
Lauren Murphy takes a decision over Barb Honchak.
Murphy debuts at 125lbs by knocking off the lineal Invicta FC flyweight champion in a surprisingly good fight. Barb Honchak comes away looking like a more entertaining, more versatile fighter than we saw when we saw her defending her title in Invicta by pushing women against the cage for 25 minutes. Was doing a great job of countering with the jab+cross and was tagging Murphy big in the 2nd. Murphy though realized she could take Honchak down with the blast double and proceeded to get her there in the 3rd. Honchak threatened with an armbar and a triangle by Murphy survived and rode out the round on top of Honchak for the win.
Should be 1-1
Can see 2-0 Murphy if you really wanna be that kinda guy.
