This XTC cover was first released on the 1986 album ‘Up From The Dark’ (which I own) and it decided it wanted my attention, jumping up and down in my mind, waving its arms. So, I gave it my attention and I decided to bring it to yours dear reader. Enjoy.
The Loco-Motion
Among other things, 2019 marked 35 years since the original broadcast of the first two episodes of Thomas The Tank Engine. The specific date was October 9th, but I couldn't be bothered doing anything to mark this anniversary at that time. Over this last weekend, though, I had an idea to make a music video, and The Loco-Motion seemed like an apt choice. Especially since loads of people have had the same idea in the past - though I don't think anyone's yet used Dave Stewart and Barbara Gaskin's 1986 cover, like I've done here...
