Some people are just born with minds that operate on a higher plane than the rest of us -- Don Rickles was such a person and he used his mind brilliantly to conjure up laughter. Even in his 90s, the man was razor sharp. Before he passed, I wrote him a lengthy letter to thank him for all the joy he had brought into my life. I also asked him if he'd get his wife Barbara to sign the 8x10 I had sent along as well...and they both obliged. It's one of my favorite pieces in my collection.
