You three as the droids makes sense height-wise as well as personality-wise.
Exactly! I put extra thought into this.
Further proof: that text post (based on this tweet) which went along the lines of
Anakin: *gestures to C-3PO* I have created a droid
Padmé: You fucked up a perfectly good robot is what you did. Look at it. It’s got anxiety.
^dat me
@barbarosabee @keruberu tell me I’m wrong tho cause I’m not
dude you need to get xkit so that when you reblog "long" text post (and I totally disagree with what constitutes a long text post), it won't automatically reblog as a link. That shit dumb. I'm curious to read posts but not enough to go to the trouble to open them in new tabs. also the way link posts are styled on this site now is fugly
Dude holy shit why did I never take the time to get this before. I'd heard about it before but was too lazy.
And srsly, reblogging long posts as links is dumb.
barbarosabee replied to your post:The world at large needs more overtly trans characters and comics even more so. Sexist people will be sexist no matter what you do, and fearing hypothetical hatred from people who are just generally hateful people is a surefire way to make sure nothing ever gets written. And just looking at that brief little sketch, YES FUCKING PLEASE WRITE THIS COMIC RIGHT NOW. (I think it might also be fun to play with gender-queer/non-binary protags if you are really worried.)
seriously. I was talking to some people and mentioning how I have trans characters and they seemed really surprised. Like ok why was that not something everyone considers when they write/create something??¿¿
I'd imagine most of it is just that you don't see trans characters much at all in mainstream media. So people don't think about them. If you do get a trans character they're almost always a gross stereotype of trans women. Trans men and non-binary people just kind of don't exist.
Edit: Okay I worded myself poorly. My point was that when a group of people is under represented in mainstream popular media it makes us less likely to think to include them in our own work, even if we might belong to the group in question.
Me: As your neighbor I am going to have to ask you guys to stop before you break my ceiling.
Willa: As your neighbor I have to ask you to stop sounding like you are summoning Satan from the depths of hell with all that garbled satanic shouting

y’all should put up a sign that says “not outside food” unless the people have super specific allergies (which would most likely not allow them to eat at a fast food place)
Sad thing is, we already have one.
We also have signs with the hours of operation, a "internet and bathrooms for staff and customers only", and ones for where to put your dirty dishes.
People blatantly ignore them all the time.
One time it was about 45 minutes after closing and almost all the lights were off and I had a guy bang loudly on the door until I came to see what was the matter. I thought maybe there was an accident or something and he needed to call 911. No. He just asked if we were open.
No, you fucking idiot. We're not.
barbarosabee replied to your post “What are some good inspirational quotes for writers?”
I got to have a skype interview with the poet Robert Wrigley, and the best thing he said was that writing must do three things: inform, delight, and wound.
I love this.
Because some dumb person suggested it needed to be done. And so it was done.
