the foreshadowing in the arch scene oh my god. you have percy offering annabeth his sword, tricking her, pushing her to safety before she can react. sacrificing himself to save her.

but if you shift your wording a little. percy raises his sword to her. betrays her. uses her, pushes her away.

there’s another swordsman she loves who will do this to her.
