A sold out weekend for James Holden : Friday night in Belgium at Ghent's Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER (with Hieroglyphic Being ), and then back to London on Saturday to support the one and only Michael Rother at the Barbican Centre .

Having worked for many years in movies, it’s been at the top of my to-do list to visit a baby cinema since I first found out I was pregnant. The Barbican centre has showings every Sat-Mon and is the perfect place to stroll around and take in a little free culture. The best surprise was a little basket of nappies and wet wipes, the perfect place for mummy’s to relax!

Arquitetura Brutalista belíssima, nem tenho muito o que dizer, fiquei encantada com o que vi, segue a apresentação do site do complexo. . "O Barbican foi desenvolvido a partir de projetos dos arquitetos Chamberlin, Powell e Bon como parte de uma visão utópica para transformar uma área de Londres devastada por bombardeios durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial. Barbican costumava ser o nome de uma rua em uma movimentada área comercial no distrito de Cripplegate. No final do século 19, era o centro do comércio de trapos e abrigava comerciantes de tecidos e couro, peleiros, luvas e uma série de outros comerciantes. No entanto, em 29 de dezembro de 1940, a cidade de Londres foi atacada pelos bombardeiros alemães e a área ao redor de Barbican foi devastada quando o fogo se espalhou rapidamente pelos armazéns. No final da guerra, apenas alguns edifícios ainda estavam de pé, incluindo a danificada Igreja de St Giles Cripplegate.
