“Oscar Night” by Tyy
I created this doll back in 2004 for a customer. The piece is called "Oscar Night". She is a one of a kind doll. The Barbie outfit was made from vintage lame brocade.
Her dress was low cut and form fitted and hit just below the calves.

* Blue Japanese Koi evening bag

Carol Spencer: Meet the woman who designed Barbie for 35 years
"Fashion Showstopper" was a piece that I never finished. She wore Barbie designer fashion. I did not create anything else for her except what is shown. I started created her and went another direction and used the doll with the repainted face on another project. So I got to keep the clothes for my personal use!!!

Evening in Beijing by Tyy was created specifically for the 13th Annual Art of Motion Picture Costume Designer Exhibition - January 29, 2005.
This event takes place at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising every year to honor Costume Designers in the film industry.
