              it   was   jeremy’s   first   night   out   on   the   boardwalk   since   the   gilberts   have   made   their   way   down   here   for   summer   vacation.   jenna   figured   they’d   need   it   after   the   accident   that   happened   with   their  parents.   he   wasn’t   feeling   up   to   much   socializing   so   he   stayed  at   the   pier   and   lit   up   a   joint   by   himself.   his   feet   dangled   off   the   edge   as   he   swung   them   back   and   forth   ,   taking   his   first   hit   of   the   night.
