Bard Idea:
Bard who is an actor rather than a musician. Specially, they're a pro-wrestler.
Maybe in their everyday life, but ESPECIALLY whenever they get into combat, they enter their over-the-top WRESTLER PERSONA.

more bard ideas im tired of all bards automatically being assigned a weakass lute, which they halfheartedly strum while singing like adam sandler is trying to make fun of an elf consider a mute bard with a hurdy gurdy
listen to that and tell me the player using it cant put an ogre into a week long coma, wipe a name from someones memory, or turn back time by about three days
My favorite forged that I’ve made has to be the dear traveling bard Casio Walkman 4X31, or his stage name Axel. He’s a smaller fella, with a tape-deck built into his grill. He jams hard and mighty on his Keytar, recording and sampling his voice to harmonize with himself.
Enchanted Item Ideas
Piccolo of piercing - A piccolo that has been enchanted to deal damage in a 20 ft radius out from the player. Creatures in this radius make a con saving throw and on a failed save take 2d4 damage and gain disadvantage for the next 2 turns due to a sudden loud ringing in the ear making it hard to concentrate. On a successful saving throw take 1d4 damage, disadvantage is not imposed.
the DM: you see a homey tavern up ahead, windows shining with light and mirth.
the bard: let’s stop there for a drink and a rest! barbarian, just don’t start anything this time.
barbarian: lol ok
15 minutes later, in the tavern:
Our bard SHREDDED a lute version of Careless Whisper to help our mostly feral warlock seduce someone. Midway thru they put their lute down, screamed “CHEERS TO THE BARTENDER”, downed a pint glass full of wild magic, went silent for a moment and then turned into a lovely potted fern for 6 minutes, became human again while being held onstage, picked their lute back up, rolled a nat 20 (+6 or +7), and played an EVEN BETTER rendition of careless whisper. Our warlock had the night of her life.
i literally dont even know how to respond to this. this is so fucking funny
