Idea for Dungeons and Dragons Character
A Cleric who can break the fourth wall and worships the Dungeon Master.
Everyone else in their party thinks they are crazy, but can’t deny the fact that the universe seems to want them to succeed.
This is due to the DM being highly susceptible to flattery and keeps minimizing the Clerics bad outcomes (like missing their target but hitting another’s opponent) and maximizing their good outcomes (getting five star equipment out of a two star loot).
The Cleric has high insight and persuasion.
Their holy symbol is a 20D.
Concept that randomly hit my brain while I was washing my hair
Clear D20 with Tiny Rocky inside, that looks like his xenonite ball
Is time go dungeon
werewolf cowboy who kills his own cattle at night and doesnt remember so he stays up all night on his porch trying to catch the wolf that keeps killing his cattle but always "falls asleep"
Wanna distract your players for an hour whole you frantically search for that monster stat block you lost?
Introducing - Fabulous Fuablo's Fantastical Pets
A travelling pet store that appears right when it needs to, full of tiny adorable animals that will tempt your players and force them to come together to count gold for how much that fuckin bespectacled baby bat is.
Works every time. The more ridiculous the animals, the better.
Omg the hollow knight world would make SUCH a good dnd setting
Like not even necessarily Hallownest or Pharloom. Just the world building established between the two games. Higher Beings, lifeblood, the basic principles of light/soul/void/dreams?
Clerics/Paladins get their power from Higher Beings in the way that spells/silk skills, Warlocks more of a Traitor Lord or Unraveled fashion. We already fight like half a dozen Bards in the series, non-caster classes are well established (fighter, rogue, ranger, etc)
The only real work that would have to be done would be stats for various bug species and even that could be worked out with a little bit of work.
Anyway this is my new fixation and I will not rest until I get to watch Brennan Lee Mulligan playing Zote and/or the D20 Intrepid Heroes beating the shit out of Kratt
guy if fairies turned into zombies they'd be like rotted fruit/veggie themed
