🗡💎 3D Printed Crystal Sword 💎🗡

So I kept meaning to get around to getting a photo so I can post this, and tonight I finally have. About a year ago I ordered a 3D printed five and a half inch sword miniature. It was in translucent plastic, and because I was feeling experimental, I took a blue office highlighter marker to the blade.

The effect was almost magical, the translucent plastic became a lot closer to transparent. After a several more coats of blue highlighter (and a few coats of pink to give it a slight purple tinge), it looked like it had been hewn from sapphire. My wife painted the rest for me and we gave it a coat of clear glossy sealer.

My inspiration for this project came from two sources:

The Crystal Sword key quest item from the original Bard's Tale video game, needed to defeat the Crystal Golem in Kylearan's Tower.

The early 80s action figure line Crystar (and accompanying Marvel Comics series), which featured many crystal swords.

Useless rpgs recs. Rpgs where you can romance an demonic character or a tiefling

Monster Prom = Damien is one of the romance option (any gender) and he is a demon.  Planescape: Torment = In this game you play as the Nameless One and he can romance succubus Fall-from-Grace or tiefling Annah-of-the-Shadows. Bard’s Tale = spoilers! Dragon Age 2 = technically, Anders is possessed by a spirit so...?  Nwn Hordes of the Underdark = for female characters, Valen Shadowbreath is the tiefling romance option. Neverwinter Nights 2 = with the Romance Pack mod you can also romance your tiefling companion Neeshka. When the Night Comes = one of the romance options in this visual novel is a demon called Omen Pathfinder kingmaker = independently from your gender, you can romance one of the tiefling sisters Kanerah or Kalikke, or even get an ending with both of them. Arcana = I am not liying, this is here for pic balance. Still, Lucio, one of the romance options, is... basically a demon?
