1. Where were they born? What is the story behind their birth, if any?
I was born in Fujioka, Gunma, but unfortunately under rather normal circumstances, so there is no grand story behind my birth, I’m afraid.
4. Did they have any childhood enemies? Any friends? Enemies that became friends?
There aren’t any childhood enemies that I can think of, but the members of Buck-Tick and I have known one another since grade school, so I would most definitely count them, Hisashi especially, as childhood friends.
6. How many siblings did they have? What was their relationship like? Were they an only child who wished for siblings?
I have one older brother with whom I had a normal relationship growing up. Though I don’t get much of a chance to see him very often, now that we’re both older and have busy lives of our own, he will still either bring his wife to a live or send flowers, so I would say that we have remained as close as we can.
7. What is their fondest memory? Their worst?
I’m going to cheat a little and answer this one a second time; my partner and I have shared many wonderful moments together, including a few blurry ones in which one of us has challenged the other to a drinking contest 笑, as well as the two of us hiding away under the shade of a tree on a Hanami date so that we could be a little more affectionate with one another, but the most poignant would be the one which officially began our relationship. Toshichan was out of the house for a sleepover at a friends, so Hajime and I had the house to ourselves. We’d already gently broached the subject of being together, but that night was the night that we both decided that we were ready. I don’t believe I will ever forget the love and warmth in his eyes when he turned around in my arms and looked up at me to tell me that he was ready to be mine. Of the many memories we’ve made together, and the ones that are yet to come in our future, that one will always be at the top of the list.
10. What was the hardest lesson they had to learn as they got older?
One of the many hard lessons which I’ve learned in getting older is that the liver is not an invulnerable organ, and doctors will give you an earful for abusing it. 笑
13. Are there any moments of their past they keep secret?
I think that everyone has moments in their past which they don’t talk about, whether good or bad, so of course there are things which I choose to either keep to myself or share with only a small handful of people.
