well i don't want to terrify you, and i'm sure it depends on the masters you go for. i've personally found it touch. almost a year since i graduated and still no degree-related job, but i have to believe it will work out eventually.
I’d definitely be going for my MFA in creative writing, because that’s the only thing I really want to do, but I’d probably try to take a lot of courses in professional editing if I could, plus non-fiction, and maybe become certified to teach, just in case. Ugh, I don’t want a real job, I just want to write and own my own bookshop, working 9-5 does not cut it for me.

That terrifies me, honestly. If I go to grad school, dig myself deeper into debt, spend two-three years of my life dedicating myself to my writing and my education, then I STILL can’t find a good job??? Fuck, just kill me now and get it over with.
