And FarIsa + 17 because yes
Here you go, sweetheart <33 Awkward farisa dorks are my life :p
17. “Looks like we’ll be trapped for a while…”
“You have got to be kidding me,” Farlan growls under his breath, his hands grasping the doorknob and shaking it in an attempt to get the door to budge. It didn’t work.
“The door ain’t opening?” Isabel asks behind him, trying to peek over his shoulder.
“No,”
She sighs, stepping away from him only to have her back hit the wall. Of all the closets they could’ve gotten stuck in, it just had to be the smallest. “What are we goin’ to do?”
“I don’t know,” he turns to her, giving up on his attempts to open the door. Sliding down the opposite wall from hers, he sits down on the floor, running a frustrated hand through his hair, “Guess we’ll just have to wait for the janitor to come and get us,”
Isabel looks over at her watch, her green eyes widening when she sees the time, “It’s still too early! He won’t be comin’ till much later,”
“Looks like we’ll be trapped for a while…” he sighs, leaning his head against the wall and closing his eyes. He could feel the tension in the air, and he would be lying if he said he wasn’t on his toes.
“So…” she starts saying, pausing for a while.
“About that kiss,” they end up saying in unison, much to their embarassment. He rubs the back of his neck and chuckles awkwardly while she tries to hide her face behind her scarf.
“Yeah, I… I get it if you didn’t mean it,”
“I meant it!” he exclaims, watching her cheeks redden some more.
“Yeah?” she asks, trying to hide the hope from her voice.
“Yeah,” he nods, and they both look away. It’s silent for a couple of minutes, both staring in opposite directions. They glanced at each other once in a while, and when their gazes accidently locked, they blushed even more and looked away once again.
“Today’s nice outside,” he says abruptly, but instantly regrets it. ‘Today’s nice outside’? Way to go, moron, he scolds himself.
“Yeah…” she replies.
He sighs. This was going to be a long wait.
