I'm in love with this series of drawings by artist Marcello Barenghi. The Italian based illustrator has a tremendous talent when it comes to portraying objectsrealistically in his drawings. When Barenghi was nine years old he was fascinated with Leonard's Mona Lisa and tried to reproduce it. It seems like Barenghi's found his calling in realism! (ABOVE) This deck of cards is all about shading and detail. You can really see the age of the cards in the way that Barenghi drew them. It's amazing how Barenghi was able to make this deck of cards appear 3D. What do you think of Barenghi's work?
