i’m trying not to let how the barista hasn’t texted me effect me but lbr it is and this sucks i thought he liked me

i have cake for the barista and he should be at work now and i’m a nervous mess. someone tell me it’s gonna be fine.

I’ve 100% given up on asking the barista out or finding out if he likes me. At this point he’s just nice to look at.

okay so after my terribly depressing three hour holocaust class (i knew it was going to be rough but i wasn’t expecting to watch disturbing movies ever class okay) but afterwards i caught of a glimpse of the barista in the coffeeshop and i was like ‘well ofc i’m getting coffee now i don’t care if it’s 7pm’ but yeah. so it was super freaking dead and he saw me coming and smiled and asked me how i was and lemme just tell you, he did not ask me what i wanted for a good 10+ minutes until someone else came in. and like i dunno guys this was nice and i really liked it and he’s fun to talk to.

Actual good thing that happened today: Barista and I had an actual honest to god conversation. Granted it was about our classes but hey it's progress. And he actually smiled a little bit when he saw me and he initiated the conversation.

why do you have to start over with the barista? :(

well my lovely darling anon, it feels like because it’s been a month plus some since i’ve seen him it just kinda feels like i’m back at square one? maybe it’s not going to be like that cause i wasn’t in the best mood today and it looked like he wasn’t either, but only time will tell! i really hope i’m off about it tbh.
