Question to my fellow baristas: If you want to go out of town to visit your family, but can't afford taking a week off. Can you, after getting permission and getting your shifts covered, volunteer to cover shifts in the town where your family is at for that week? Like my mom lives in DC, could I call up stores in DC and see if they need shifts covered for that week, and basically work while visiting my family so I'm not short on my rent?
