Climate change Following up the climate summit in the U.S., a local example of climate change. In woods all through Europe conifers are being infected by a very infectious bark beetle. These pictures show the results in Sachsische Schweiz, a national park east of Dresden, bordering the Czech Republic. The trees are weakened by drought that has carried on for two years now in Germany. There is nothing the foresters can do to stop it, but pray for rain. Kodak Portra 160 film (august 2019)
