12-15 year old me: I'm a werewolf! Grrrr!🐺
Post middle school me: well my parents are really pissed about me being a werewolf so I guess I can't be a werewolf. It's probably just a cringey phase anyway.
18-20 year old me: my werewolf phase was likely born from the consistent and inescapable child abuse I suffered, and my desire to protect myself from it. It was also a way for me to connect with my friends at the time and express my love for nature. Yeah it was cringey, but it made those difficult years worthwhile.
21 year old me: ok, so you know what would be really funny...
