Woodland fairy door commission: ABSOLUTELY BARKING MAD! 4 steps on my efforts with the bark! I built up the structure with some tin foil which I then wrapped in masking tape. Once covered I then mashed up some paper with PVA to give an uneven surface to the tree... I then covered with paper and using a mixture of filler and PVA I then covered this layer. This allowed me to score in the bark lines with a screwdriver and knife, anything that would make a mark.
