Octonauts - views on romance

Barnacles - As I previously stated, Barnacles was quite popular with the female polar bears growing up. But most polar bears themselves aren't monogamous. If he were to fall in love though, he would be absolutely devoted to that indivaul, and try to impress them. As of right now, Barnacles has actually found himself falling for Tweak, but isn't sure how to act upon these feelings.

Kwazii - While he's good at keeping his friend's crushes a secert... he's not so good at hiding his own feelings. He will get more reckless and daring than usual if he ever were to fall for someone. (Cough*Bianca*Cough).

Peso - He aboustely knows when someone has fallen for someone else, but Peso... he just doesn't feel that kind of love. It's always been family-type love. As far as he knows, the next penguin across the way is a distant cousin he's not met yet. And, for the Octonauts, they see him as the 'baby brother'... of course, that dynamic flips on its head whenever there's a sickness or injury.

Shellington - Quite nervous and jittery around someone he has feelings for (cough*Dashi*cough). Sometimes he will try and drive the Gups to get his act together. Of course, that ends up backfiring. However, Dashi understands Shellington so well, the jitters end up fading when they are hanging out.

Dashi - Oblivious to if someone likes her, or if she likes someone, but completely aware if someone likes someone else. (She may take photos of inncoent kisses or hugs). However, she will go above and beyond (ha ha), for someone she has those kinds of feelings for. (Shellington). She really does enjoy his company.

Tweak - She has strong emotions. She will make extravagant gifts (Gup X and Gup S) constantly call someone by a nickname (Cap), and even encourages a playful side (the "buncha munchy crunchy carrots" catchphrase). Her feelings for Barnacles aren't exactly subtle.

Inkling - He didn't ever think he'd find love, nor was in a rush to find someone. But he wasn't opposed to the idea. He has a bit of a crush on Min, but it didn't really result in anything.

Vegimals - Little shippers on deck (ha ha). They will set up dinner dates for any couples on the Octopod, especially Shellington and Dashi (they already started calling her 'mum', and spoil her on Mother's Day) (Barnacles and Tweak are 'uncle' and 'aunt', for the record). Too young for any kind of relationship themselves though.

Octonauts headcanon: Tweak knows how to blacksmith. She learned it from a class she took at college. She even made Barnacles a Valentine’s Day gift using this knowledge.

she was so stressed that when barnacles came in and was talking to her, she lashed out at him which made him sad. And she doesn’t like it when he’s sad
