Well. At least there's still horses.
I love this horse so gd much. Never met an animal less motivated to move in all my life, but he canters over when I call him.
man, I really tried not to get too attached, but I'm gonna miss this goofball so much when his family comes back for him in the spring.
Cedar was seized from his former owner due to neglect before being adopted by the barn owner this past winter, and we know next to nothing about him. He's about 20 years old and he's sweet as a peach!
Everyone's been calling him a buckskin, but the last photo shows him next to an actual buckskin mare, and you can see how much lighter his points are. It's even more noticeable in person. I'm only passingly familiar with horse genetics, but he looks like a champagne dilute to me.
