Degassing resin in a vacuum chamber. This is really cool to see in real time. I might have to shoot a video soon. When you mix the resin (this is a 1:1 water clear polyurethane with a 15min pot life) you mix air into the resin just from stiring. To remove the bubbles, you can place the resin in a vacuum chamber. Once at vacuum, the bubbles will expand, rise up to the surface and pop. Once degassing reaches a certain point, you only end up boiling the resin. Repressurising will crush any remaining bubbles. #molding and #casting #barnsproducts #bubblefree https://www.instagram.com/p/BnPqHV1lluV/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=f2qgnjmangl
