Barn story of the day
The owner of the farm where I lived took me and my mom to an auction. This mini stud came in and no one bid on him and he was gonna go to the kill pen so I begged my mom to get him. So we saved his life for $25 and ended up giving him to a family with 3 kids and 2 mini mares. The drove him home in their van and he lived happily ever after.
Barn story of the day
There was this super rude and annoying client at my barn. And one day the owner of the farm was leading a deaf horse in and this lady slammed her trunk really hard as the horse walked by and something about that made the horse bolt. It almost broke the owners wrist and as the horse ran away loose the lady said "Oh did I scare it?" Then she continued to complain about her horses stall or something.

One time me and some friends wanted to go sledding but there was no snow... so we slid down the 40 ft horse poop drop off. Needless to say that was a mistake.

A horse trainer I knew heard something going on in her barn one night so she decided to go check it out to make sure everything was okay. Well when she turned on the lights she saw two guys dressed in black with masks on holding one of her horses and a knife with a bucket under the horses neck. Yes, they were about to sacrifice it.
