Coworker talking to another coworker was like "in a zombie apocalypse [Baron] is my first choice to eat but she's too nice so I'dfeel too bad so she's safe"

When I asked why I was first choice he said it's cuz I don't smoke or do a lot of drugs lol

He said if I had the personality of another coworker he'd eat me no problem but he can't eat that coworker because she's a smoker and she cracked up

A few setbacks at work today and also it's hot and humid today so I wanna throw up and I'm running late lol

I'm that bitch who is easily overwhelmed and one setback is devastating

Anyway it took twice as long as usual to count the drawer abs I also have to partially cover the coworker who is off for 2 weeks

Pros everyone is stepping in to help but like I'm still in distress

Get to work 3 full shifts next week when the building is on shutdown and everyone who's been here around the holidays before is saying they're won't be any customers lol

I guess in past years, they closed at 2pm instead I'd 7 but alas

Getting so frustrated with work

One library I do work for has ... instructions for how to do certain things. I do those things as instructed. Turns out they actually want those things done a different way. Make up your fucking minds? So I’m getting chastised for stuff that isn’t my fault. Like ok I will own up to I did make mistakes explicitly on my end, but there are 2 separate big things that i was told contrary to what they actually want

I’m just ... ugh

ALSO, we were doing a trial for like 6 weeks of working 4 10hr days a week. That trial period was supposed to end this week. Today my boss, without sending out a mass email saying we’re extending the trial, is just like “Hey these two things you have scheduled for the next 3 weeks fall on your established days off so you have to change things things (ie my vacation schedule... nbd, and  a facility event which means i either go in  on my day off to participate or miss out on the raffle).... it’s frustrating because I don’t know if my boss is like misunderstanding something (she sometiems does) or what’s going on. Because she STILL hasn’t sent out an email changing the dates to say “Instead of doing this trial until the 15th, we’re extending it until such time as you’re told otherwise) Not once.

So like I’m adjusting my plans but what if next week or the week after it comes back that she just fucked up everything for me lol

i don’t know why she wouldn't just send out a mass email to say that. it just looks like she’s telling me something on my own that’s contradictory to what i we were all told last month

every morning i am forced to wake up and leave the sweet embrace of my comforter is suffering

there's a probable snow storm coming this week

sorta wish i didn't have the capability to work from home so I could sleep in (supposin they shut down the workplace)

on the other hand, I'll be making money . . . and if they DON'T close down I don't have to drive to work until Friday. :3c

so I guess I'll take it
