The somber mood of the candle-lighting ceremony isn’t lost on Lucretia, but it’s almost comforting... there’s been a few people on her mind lately, and this seems a fitting way to pay tribute to them. What she hadn’t expected is to run into not only someone she knows, but perhaps the only person in the entire city who understands how she’s feeling.
“Barry?”
She hesitates near where he’s sitting, awkwardly standing by the water’s edge. For all they’ve managed to put behind them in the past year, part of her still worries... after everything that happened, does he want her to be a part of emotional moments like this? Or did she forfeit her place in the family when she did what she did?
“Do you mind if I sit with you for a while?”
