Big news! Today the fine folks at Barton 1792 Distillery have launched a new product line, Thomas S. Moore Extended Cask Finish! Named in honor of the original founder of what became the Barton 1792 Distillery, the whiskies in this limited annual release are fantastic! Using Barton’s High-Rye bourbon, they finish it for between 2-5 years in a variety of casks. This inaugural release consists of three expressions, each finished in a different type of wine barrel. The Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon finished expressions use ex-wine barrels sourced from the Central Napa area. The Port expression is finished in ex-ruby port barrels.
