I just wanted to say that I listened to 'Skok do gwiad' (Jump to the stars) by Bartosz Brzeziński. And that I loved it. It's a sports drama that focuses on being gay teenager in a modern Poland, trying to relearn trust and experiancing young 'forbidden' romance - all of that while being obsessed with a sport but denying yourself involvement with it due to past trauma. Sounds familiar? It has some All For The Game vibes but a little bit more vanilla. But also lots of 'hurt/comfort' - both the Polish novel and the fic trope.
If you know Polish, definitely give it a read.
