“Lexicon of the Debates”: Wendy K. Kolmar and Frances Bartowski

After reading “Lexicon of the Debates”, I have learned that although women have rights, they are still in a “private sphere” just because they are women. This is one of the many reasons that feminism sprouted out, along with many epistemological ideas that fall under different types of feminism, such as radical and cultural feminism. They “[take] women’s differences, and motherhood in particular, to be resources for feminism that they must wrest from patriarchal control.” What I perceived from this reading is that women are still somehow inferior to men (mainly due to the different genitalia, as stated in the reading). Women shouldn’t be subjected to male dominance just because of the differences between a man and woman’s body. We should all find a way to end most oppression against women, although it may not seem like there is any. Not just against women either, but for all people. “We do not need to share common oppression to fight equally to end oppression.”

34. A set that took you a long time/was really hard but you’re really proud of how it came out i’m honestly at a loss…. i mean i do have some gifsets that took me more than others but out of all of them i’m sure i’m not proud of any lmao like mostly the ones i like were done pretty smoothly… i think it’s bc they were frustrating to make that i don’t like them that much hahah
