Amycus sat on the front porch of the Carrow Manor, sitting on the steps leading to the front door. He was waiting for someone to show up and passing the time by letting Hal run around the front yard. There’d been a ball somewhere, but Amycus had thrown it far enough he’d lost track, and Hal was still looking. Another dog was running around the yard, oblivious to the lost ball. He drummed his fingers on the edge of the steps as he waited for Hal to find the ball. When he heard a noise behind him, Amycus turned to see one of Alecto’s new cats pitifully looking at him through the window. Since the twins had moved into the Manor again, both had decided to fill the house with more animals. It meowed a few more times before Amycus pulled his wand from his sleeve to wave it at the window, opening it and setting the cat free. Whether or not Alecto wanted to let the cats out was none of his concern, anyway. He scratched at the cat’s neck when it wandered over, smiling when it purred. When the cat bolted away Amycus jumped, looking over to see Hal offering him a tennis ball. “Oh...Good boy. G’boy.” He had to wrench the ball from Hal’s grip, and the dog jumped around as Amycus stood up to throw it again. He chucked the ball, and as he did, heard the popping noise of someone apparating and watched the ball smack whoever had just appeared in the yard “Aw, fuck--Sorry!” he started to laugh at whoever he’d just pegged with the ball.
