Narusasusaku is the best mutual pining ship of all time actually, because all of them think they’re the odd one out and none of them know how to communicate.

Sakura thinks that her love is unrequited because she will never have the soul bond that either of them have with each other.

Naruto thinks that sasusaku are meant to be. Sasuke doesn’t see him romantically and hasn’t Sakura-chan loved Sasuke since they were twelve? There’s no room for him in this relationship.

Sasuke thinks that after everything that’s happened, the two of them are better off without him. They both have a close bond without any complications or past turmoil, while he went out of his way to ruin his relationship with both of them.

All three of them would probably pine after the other two members of the not-yet-formed throuple for years before getting together because they’re all dense as rocks and too busy drowning in insecurity and trauma to see that actually, everything they want is literally in their laps!

Top three fav poly Naruto ships?

♥️ Kakashi x Naruto x Yamato is steadily growing on me. The crack fic potential is genuinely through the roof with those three. I may have to write it just so it exists, honestly. Kakashi and Naruto just gnawing away while Yamato holds the line as the most emotionally intelligent and well-adjusted one there.

♥️ Sasuke x Naruto x Sakura is classic. Team 7 poly will never get old, genuinely. I think of the poly Naruto fandom content on Ao3, this is the most solid category. Really can't go wrong with it other than the fact that Naruto is too good for either of them and Sasuke 10000% deserves neither (Sakura should be with Rock Lee or Ino. Fact.)

♥️ Itachi x Naruto x Kakashi is also a fairly new one I've been considering and honestly? It would be peak. Can't lie, it would hit so, so good. Does it exist? If it does, it's probably porn. Which is fire, but I'd love some narrative of them. I just know it'd hit.

♥️ Neji x Lee x Tenten get an honorable mention for being cute. They'd have an adorable dynamic I just know it.
