To me #14 looks like it was made to appeal to body horror lovers (and pinhead fans lol), not the broader dainty community. As someone not really into to cutesy shit, I find that thing's inclusion pretty refreshing and I honestly wish the mods would pander to horror fans more often! I see nothing wrong with it being included in a Halloween batch of all things, especially given the content warning.

It's very weird that some of y'all have some kind of moral objection to it though? I've seen ten times worse on the myo masterlist. Disliking a design is one thing, but wishing for a mod to be kicked out because their designs make you uncomfortable is just weak.

Unpopular opinion, i genuinely liked 14 because I'm a fucked up horror artist and i enjoy messed up characters 😭 believe me or not, I'm jealous af of the winner, it should have been me...

I get not like #14, it’s definitely not a design for everyone, but going and crying to Pajuxi about it is such an over-reaction. Mods put a clear warning that reads “*This is a horror style design, please don’t enter if you are uncomfortable with a design that features some body horror elements!” in the design’s description on the preview/entry post, and even listed the traits the design was going to have, such as pins in body and leather pin-cushion texture. It’s y’all’s fault if you can’t read and end up with a design that you don’t like.

I think that you mean someone else. The number 14 winner hasn't been active in the discord since the revamp. 14 is pins and needles.

I've been looking at the Basals that have a toyhou.se, and only one (as far as I know) came with extra art. All the others just have a reference. So, at least, that was nice of the artist. The basal I'm talking about is 12.

mystery designs shouldn't be a thing period. it's just so exploitative if you don't like a particular style/artist and if you win, you're forced to pay ? nah git outta here with that bull

At least not for triple digits, I think it's fun if it's low investment
