The Absolver
Designation: Project_5125
Object Class: Keter
Description:
5125 appears to be a simple aluminum backed mirror, measuring 3m by 1.5 m. It’s anomalous feature stems from its sentience and it’s tendency to display a subject’s worse value according to one of the seven sins.
When a subject stands in front of 5125, a figure, designated 5125-A, appears directly in front of the subject. 5125-A’s appearance will change depending on the subject’s gender but will always remain independent from the subject’s own movements. According to the displayed sin, 5125-A will show what could have been and induce extreme guilt. If the subject denies their apparent sins, the induced guilt will steadily intensify until the subject [DATA EXPUNGED]. Multiple instances of 5125-A have been recorded, each mimicking one of the subject’s friends and/or family.
For instance, if the subject is a businessman known for being an extremely prideful for his company’s success to the point of shunning his wife and children and denying his co-workers their required credit, 5125-A will show the exact opposite.
Addendum 5125-A-23-1:This has already happened. Said business man is a D-Class. After ██ days of denying both pride and █████, the D-Class [DATA EXPUNGED].
In the case that the subject agrees with the shown sin and makes efforts to change and improve themselves, 5125-A seems to stop inducing guilt and begins to appear more encouraging to the subject, often suggesting ways to continue if the subject becomes stuck. 5125-A also shifts to imitate the subject at a slightly higher level of improvement than their current level.
However, in the case that a child under the age of 6 - or the rare adult - stands in front of 5125, 5125-A will take the physical appearance of the subject’s closest family members or - occasionally - friends. If any sins are shown, a significantly lower amount of guilt is shown in the subject and 5125-A immediately attempts to guide the subject away from the sin.
Containment Protocol:
5125 is to be kept in an airtight room, with constant surveillance with the use of motion sensors. However, 5125-A has shown to be incapable of containment, appearing on multiple occasions outside of 5125. It is to be noted that 5125-A appears to be fainter the further away from its original point.
Addendum 5125-A-25-1: 5125-A and its multiple duplicates are not capable of speech but are able of answering questions with gestures. At this current moment of time. 5125-A seems content with remaining in the Labs and cooperates with researchers.
Addendum 5125-A-25-2: In the case of multiple subject being present at one time, 5125 shows the sins of each subject individually, meaning one subject only sees 5125-A as themselves and their own family and friends, not anyone else’s.
Addendum 5125-A-26-1: 5125 has been deemed unbreakable. Anyone that attempts to break 5125 gains Wrath as a “minor sin”.
