Well my queue is officially depleted, so that’s going to be it for ireadtheinternets. I’m not deleting it or anything, but I decided that it’s dumb to have two blogs when I don’t really use my “personal” one at all. So I moved everything over and will be posting pretty much the same stuff at the same frequency on my main blog from now on. If you want to continue to watch my spiral into the abyss of madness, go over to based-on-fiction and check me out over there!
Hello my dearest followers, did you miss me?
What am I saying, of course you did. Anyway, I really want to do a shoutout to everyone who followed me while I was posting absolutely nothing during finals because they must really think I'm amazing, but I totally lost count of who's new on my list, and if I'm remembering the count correctly there's at least twenty of you. I'd love to post links to your blogs, so if you want a special post about yourself send me a note, but if not just welcome to the show everybody and here's a general gif of me liking you:
Now, I'm going to go fill the queue with frivolity about Ace Attorney and my mixed feelings about Kevin Bacon. Till then, stay classy.
PS: Also apparently my blog may have unfollowed some people in the last few weeks? I can't for the life of me figure out who, so if I used to follow you and now I do not, please let me know. Or if I never followed you and you have a good reason why I should, you can let me know that too. Why not?
As we get closer to the day of the doctor, I am less likely to post my gushing doctor who posts on my other blog and will be fangirling up in here. You've been warned.
So my inbox is doing that thing again where it won't let me respond to anything. I think it may finally be time for me to disable missing e. But I promised to honestly answer questions, so I'm gonna just make a post. Not all were anon, but unless you tell me you want your name on it, I'm just going to list the answers by themselves.
I have had three serious relationships, and one that, while it lasted three months, I don't consider serious. They were all boys.
I'd like to think that fish have souls, but I don't have the research to back that up.
If someone held a gun to my head and asked me what my favorite TV show is, I would be both suspicious and concerned for their mental health. But, if it happened, I'd probably say Doctor Who.
I don't know why you would want to know, but I looked it up and it's 139.
Yes, I could give you sex advice, but that doesn't mean I'm going to. It depends on what you want to know...
and
I don't have a lot of pictures of myself, but I've posted a few in the past. They're all tagged #me and there's a link in my "about me" page. I am wearing clothes in all of them.
So today was a pretty productive day. I got a job and a haircut.
I know what you're all thinking: what exactly does this new haircut mean for the based-on-fiction blog? Well, I will probably have to devote a lot of time to this new haircut, but the internet will always be my top priority.
Although the job thing...I'm so excited about it, actually. I got a position as a tutor at the local community college, so I get to spend my days teaching writing to all kinds of people. It'll be hard at times but mostly really interesting. And I think it'll generate a lot of great stories for you guys.
What I'm working on:
I started a new short story cause, you know, writers block, and this is one of the opening lines. I think it's one of my better ones.
"I am not the first man, nor will I be the last, whose life was changed when a woman walked in the door. But I think it can be said that all such stories—and all such women—are worth hearing about."
