Closing the door behind herself, Mei-Rin sighed deeply and leant against it, letting her eyelids fall. She was exhausted. But well, this was the life she had chosen for herself this year ago, and she knew it.

She had been a high school student. He had been the most handsome man she had ever met. She had been sure it had been something special. To him, she had been nothing more than a toy. He had left her once he had got to know she had been pregnant with his child.

Now, Mei-Rin tried to start a new life. As soon as she had got better after giving birth to her daughter, she had started her work. One of her friends had suggested their mutual acquaintance as a babysitter, and this way she could find a full-time job without much trouble. However, it meant that she spent more time at work than at home.

“I’m home,” she mumbled as she walked into the room and smiled softly. “How’s my little princess?” The question about the baby went to the babysitter she could see sitting in an armchair.

It was wrong, Mei-Rin knew that. She should not be doing that, and yet, the temptation was far too strong for her.

They had spent the previous night making love until they had fallen asleep, exhausted. Now, she had woken up to see him all ready... apparently he was having some nice dream...

That was what pushed her to do it. Unable to stop herself, she positioned herself against him and slid down, kissing his neck softly.

Mei-Rin had not expected anyone to walk in; she had got used to the fact K’el was not home, and now, when he was back, although she was glad, it was hard to get used to having him around again.

“O- oh... K’el...” she muttered, blushing deeply. She remembered they had never had such problems when as children they had bathed together. Now, though, much had changed. “I... forgive me... I’ll get dressed and we’ll talk, alright?”

That relationship headcanon one, for Alec and Mei and for K'el and Mei

Alec:

Mei-Rin thinks of Alec being her master as of a turn on.

At first, they did not plan on letting their relationship turn into something so serious, but when it happened, neither of them had anything against it.

Although Alec did not like her calling him a master at first, he has nothing against her doing that in their intimate moments.

Whenever the situation is serious, they can keep their relationship on a strictly professional level.

K’el:

Although the woman that brought Mei-Rin up was K’el’s aunt, they never thought of each other as of relatives.

When Mei-Rin got to know what happened to her mother, they both visit the place she was buried to put flowers there.

They sometimes fight over who should protect who.

Although there are many serious differences between their looks, they never seem to notice they are in any way different.

The woman ran through the forest with something in her arms. This something looked like a bundle of rags. The woman was dirty and terrified, stumbling every now and then, clearly exhausted.

At last, having approached something that looked like the outskirts of some village, she fell onto her knees, pulling the bundle even closer to her chest, tears covering her face.

Someone approached her; she could not even see clearly their faces, but there were two tall people, looking at her.

“Please,” she whispered, her face now almost grey, lips barely able to form the words. “Please, take care of my daughter...”

And with those words uttered, she closed her eyes. The bundle moved slightly and squealed as the woman breathed her last.
