One of my favorites of the @patekphilippeexhibition lies in the museum portion. There are so many important pieces at the exhibition but the significance of this one, quietly sitting in an empty portion of the room, goes unnoticed. . This is Charles & Henri's personal, unique, rose gold, perpetual #1527 from 1943. Charles Stern was the first of four generations to transform #Patek to the brand we know today. His son Henri, who would later have the U.S. office named after him, would wear this during his tenure. Philippe's father & grandfather and Thierry's grand & great-grand father would shape one of the most important horological brands in recent times. . Staying true to their values of tradition, legacy and innovation, it's always fun to piece together where they drew inspiration for the current collection.
