Patrick Haggerty at The Basement | Nashville, TN | April 2016 In 1973, Patrick and his band released their self-titled album, Lavender Country. This wasn’t your run of the mill country music record. In fact, Lavender Country is recognized as the first openly gay country music album. Patrick shared some great music, and some great stories. One of my favorite things he said was, “Dont sneak. Because if you sneak, it means you think you’re doing the wrong thing.
