I'm sure there are plenty of jobs in China where workers get little time off, but my proxy buyer BaseTao puts up a notice like "hey, we're taking ten days off for this holiday" several times a year. Good for them honestly.

In case you're wondering what 1688.com is, it's a Chinese selling site like Taobao, but with a higher percentage of bootlegs. It also has a lot more wholesalers who will have extremely cheap prices but you have to buy a minimum of 1,400 of an item or whatever.

I only recently discovered it via BaseTao (my proxy buyer's) reverse image search.

I finally submitted my BaseTao items for shipping!  (I wait until I have multiple items in their warehouse to minimize costs.)

Now begins the wait . . . which can range from several weeks (at least six) to several months.
