#basic fun retros

I got two of the new Totally Rad ponies from Basic Fun! Skydancer and Starshine are two of my favorites, so I had to get them in alternate poses and with neon hair. They look fantastic. Found them at Target! They also had Firefly, but did not have Moonstone. I hope to find her eventually. Especially since she’s also in a different pose!

I noticed one funny thing. The packaging has a goof and shows Starshine as a unicorn! She looks wonderful as a unicorn!

Skydancer is shown as her typical pegasus self, but the packaging on the side of both boxes shows unicorn Starshine

I like how even if Basic Fun isn’t doing a lot more of the G1 characters (I wish they would), they’re putting out new things I actually want to buy.

Guess what I splurged on today!

I’ve been too busy this spring to continue work on documenting my collection. My job became VERY busy and stressful over the last months due to COVID-19.

But I decided to do something special for myself. I bought some Basic Fun repro ponies! Pics coming when the rest of them arrive! I have, I think the full set of the originals, but they’re in not-good condition. Which honestly makes it really special to get the repros in perfect mint in box condition.
