alias: 𝚖𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚘𝚛𝚢 𝚓𝚎𝚊𝚗 𝚛𝚊𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚕 𝚚𝚞𝚒𝚗𝚗, or "quinzel". *depending on verse and universe, legally, harley had mallory while using an alias at the hospital. on that certificate, mallory's legal name is listed as: 𝚓𝚎𝚊𝚗 𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚌𝚎 𝚍𝚎𝚗𝚗𝚒𝚜.
in other universes, she also uses the last name "napier," when applicable to the "joker" in those worlds.
subsequently, mallory is sometimes referred to as “junior,” ( jr. ) by joker.
mallory has no “official” criminal name.
age: mallory's age fluctuates, just like any comic character. in most of my writing, she's aged from teen hood, to adulthood. usually, she's mirrored my own age, making her 27 if we want to use that angle. i made her originally to be paired up with tim drakes run as robin, so canonically, she's the same age as tim.
sexuality: i write mallory as being bisexual. she has no “canon” ships, and if we're writing in the universe where the dee twins are her daughters, their father is unknown. mallory has many “flings” around gotham, mostly with hired henchmen or women, anyone who isn't scared to take “the bosses' daughter,” for a spin. — if they get too clingly, mallory's not above killing them to get them off her back.
history, pt. one: mallory entered the world on a cold december night in gotham — a healthy, unremarkable child on paper, yet somehow managing to leave no paper trail at all. Her infancy and childhood remain buried in shadow. no birth records, no guardians, no confirmed locations. not even batman’s exhaustive searches have unearthed where she was raised. all anyone knows for sure is that for a long time, harley was on what, joker called, a “sabbatical." but most outside the crime circle assumed she was dead. unconfirmed sightings of mallory began circulating when she reached her early teens, but officially, her debutant debut of crime happened when she was sixteen.
joker, grinning ear to ear, couldn’t resist announcing to batman, “got one of those now! homegrown and everything—no GMOs, no preservatives! 100% joker!"
SECTION: ABILITIES, ( taken from GPD records. )
Official Assessment:
Subject is human, despite circulating rumors suggesting metahuman origin. DNA analysis indicates minor genetic alterations, presumably linked to her parentage.
Toxic Immunity: Subject exhibits full immunity to Smylex gas and most common toxins utilized within Gotham’s criminal network.
Physical Capabilities: Strength and endurance test slightly above average human range. These enhancements are not superhuman, but notable for a subject of her size and age.
Combat Proficiency: Subject’s fighting skills are derived exclusively from informal training by the Joker and Harley Quinn. Not formally trained in martial arts. Exhibits a chaotic, improvisational combat style.
Preferred Weaponry: Avoids prolonged hand-to-hand engagement. Known to carry improvised melee weapons, most frequently modified baseball bats with nails embedded in the barrel.
history, pt. two: mallory’s presence in gotham’s criminal underworld is inconsistent and varies across reported timelines. she acts primarily on her own terms, engaging in a range of offenses from petty theft and cat burglary to, in some instances, homicide. her moral compass is flexible. though mallory is largely emancipated from her parents and frequently operates independently, she maintains a complicated loyalty to both. she often assists in their criminal enterprises, but is prone to double-crossing her father, sometimes motivated by a desire to protect harley quinn, and other times by sudden, unpredictable shifts in her own conscience or alliances.
personality: mallory has a deceptively cheerful and bubbly demeanor, rarely showing signs of fear or hesitation. her sarcasm and sardonic wit often surface after encounters with her father. mallory is not very "emotionally intelligent,” and frequently flip-flops through moods at the drop of a hat. she is far from unintelligent, however, mallory learns quickly and demonstrates a keen ability to read others’ emotions. on occasion, she has even outwitted the joker at his own games —though history suggests such victories come with dangerous consequences.
history, pt. three: mallory died one december, the victim of a single gunshot wound to the back of the head. who found her varies between universes — sometimes stuffed between a dumpster and discarded trash, a grim end for gotham’s juliet capulet. she was laid to rest in an unmarked grave, with no headstone to mark her passing. her killer’s identity remains unknown. when questioned in custody, the joker smiled and quipped, “oh, come on… you act like you’ve never heard of tough love.” to this day, mallory’s death remains officially unresolved — an open-ended mystery lurking in gotham’s shadows.
