My family is in trouble.

We have no food. To be more honest, we have about 5 cake mixes (all given to us over the years) but not even a way to make any of it. We have one box of spaghetti, some canned green beans, and some canned corn.

That’s literally it.

This month, my mom’s respiratory doctor told her she HAD to get oxygen in the home and she HAD to replace the headgear for her bipap. That cost us hundreds of dollars we really need.

Then my insurance changed this year and I wasn’t aware that my eye doctor was no longer covered. That bill was another hundred dollars from me. Well, 82. And I only have 300 a month after I pay my mom for board and all that.

Then...in a stupid fit of mania, in the middle of the goddamned night, I bought those heart shaped sunglasses. It was 30 bux I did not need to spend. :(  So I admit that I helped fuck us this month...I fully accept it. 

The problem is that both my mom and I suffer from hypoglycemia. Right now, in fact, right this moment, we’re both sick from low blood sugar. We both drank a soda (not even ours, but borrowed) to bring our sugar up enough to not be truly dangerously sick. After the soda, mom’s blood sugar is 74 and mine is now 95. So I’m pushing normal.

To make a long story long, we really need help. I hate to ask and I know I’ve asked before but we’re a bit desperate. Food banks locally are all church-based and closed this whole holiday weekend.

If you can help and you want to, I’d appreciate it more than I can express. 

With my brother out of town, we’re kind of alone here in this.
