I think the freshman series did I a really good job. It did drag a bit but I feel like as the books came out it gave us so many options especially if you choose not to date anyone. I saw on YouTube that the single route and it was so refreshing and I feel more heartbreaking cause you the MC are fighting over with your best friend instead of a love interest
I love the freshman for this reason!
It didn’t have the best male: female ratio. But after you look up your LI in book 1 the story is tailored for you.
Sadly it had a garbage plot, so it can’t make the god tier.
If it was just for characters? Fuck yeah. But as a whole??? Sadly nope.
